A great way to keep young minds busy at home
TENZ has designed a technology challenge where students can create a product that would be helpful at home. The product can link to any area of technology, and should either solve a problem, make something work better, or just be an inventive idea. The only constraint is that they can only design the product out of materials that they can find in their homes.
Supporting hands-on learning and participation in areas of technology
We are proud to support this project as a Platinum sponsor offering the top prizes for each division. This challenge is a great way to encourage hands-on learning while students are at home in a way which encourages students to be creative, tackle advanced problem solving, and gives them the opportunity to win some great technology prizes. There are also spot prizes awarded to teachers, so get your students involved and you could come out a winner too!
The competition closes on Friday 3rd July at 5pm, and the winners will be announced during Tech Week, 27th July - 2nd August 2020. Students are to submit their design here along with some evidence of their learning. This could be in the form of progress photos, videoing their process, or making a slideshow of how they designed their product.
We're so exited to see what your students can create over this time, and we look forward to providing the winners and runner-ups with some exciting digital technology prizes. You can find the official TENZ information document here, or contact us if you have any questions.
Have fun, stay safe, and get creating!
