The final part of my journey is here! In this final video, I go over the last topic - 'Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity'. After finishing all of the questions at the end of each unit, the training was complete.
A key point from this topic was that moving lessons and students' work online will save you so much time. This means you can spend less time creating the lessons and more time answering important questions, creating more authentic relationships in the classroom and furthering students' knowledge.
I still can't get over the Voyager tool on Google Earth - a really practical application for this would be to kick-off a new topic with a guided journey. If you're introducing your class to advanced geometry, 'The Geometry of Castles" would be a fantastic way to explain how it is used in real life.
After completing this course, the obvious next move would be to do the Advanced G-Suite Training. There's plenty of other courses available in the Teacher Centre too, so I can keep working on my digital-classroom skills!
If you have any questions about the Google for Education Fundamentals Training or about using G-Suite in your classroom, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'd love to help you get started on this journey as it's been the most practical and informative course ever for me!
